My 7-year old daughter played with this for hours upon opening it. She brought it out again a week later and created aliens until she ran out of stuff. She loves it...

I got this toy for my daughter for Christmas and it definitely made the Top 5 list. She was able to enjoy the toy without much help because the process is easy and safe. She has lots of fun creating new creatures and find new ways to play with them.. It encouraged creativity with a side of scientific exploration. The clean up was easy when she was done, and she's returned to the gift several times. Overall this was a homerun for a present. My daughter is 7 years old.
I recommend this toy for any kids who have fun creating scenarios, like science, or like crafts!

We got this for Christmas and my 8 year old daughter loves making the aliens and playing with this toy. It is not too messy and does not take too long. Even my much older daughter enjoyed playing with this. We recommend this item.

wish I could give it 3.5 stars. The martians are very small & must be kept in the pods if you want them to last at all. The place where the 3 bottles of "gue" go, should have been additional pods because if you place the bottles in there, you can't open the mold. It is fun making the martians but the ship won't really get played with. I wouldn't pay more than $15.

My 5 year old son LOVES this toy. After the first few tries, he was able to make them by himself. I had to buy a plastic bin to store the pieces and parts in, but it was well worth it as he can just grab it and bring it to the kitchen table. The mess cleans up easily. The aliens eventually seem to dry out, but the fun part is making them anyway! Great price on Amazon!!
